Three confirmed dead in Isinya-Kitengela road accident

Three people died and several others were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in lost control and hit a stationary truck along the Isinya-Kitengela Road in Kajiado County on Monday, January 8 morning. Police said that the incident occurred at about 6:40 am in the Kisaju area and involved a Toyota matatu and an Isuzu Lorry. Preliminary investigations by Officers from Isinya Police Station indicate that the matatu driver attempted to overtake the stalled lorry but instead lost control and hit the said Lorry on the rear right. “Due to the impact, two unknown females and one male adult passengers died on the spot while other passengers with injuries were rushed by good Samaritans to various hospitals,” police said.
